Vintage Knitting

I remember seeing Naomi Watts in King Kong and thinking, I would like a hat like that! It looks absolutely sublime on her but then again, she is one of the prettier people on this planet. Fawn Pea posted pictures of her St. Vincent Cloche on Flickr. This free pattern is available on her blog f.pea. This is a felted hat so you will need 4 skeins of 100% wool in two colors. It is knit big and felted until it is the right size. I am very bad at felting and I have a big head so this endeavour might be risky!
